Today is National Cookie Day!

What is your favorite kind of cookie? Soft, buttery frosted sugar cookies? Classic chocolate chip? Crisp biscotti or perhaps a more cake-like cookie?

No matter which you love best, today is the day to celebrate all the cookies!

While my children and I are ever thankful for the free cookies for kids at certain grocery store bakeries (Needlers, Kroger, Meijer, Walmart, etc.), did you know that there are several places we as adults can also get FREE COOKIES on National Cookie Day??

I'll be making my tried and true chocolate chip cookies in the Sullivine kitchen today, at the request of my husband and kids. I'm also looking forward to baking and decorating our traditional Christmas cut-out sugar cookies in our new-to-us kitchen real soon!
